OLLI at ASU Volunteer Manager

My name is Wendy Hultsman, and I am recently retired from being an ASU faculty member! For the past 28.5 years, I taught Parks and Recreation Management for the Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions. In 1990 I started the Special Event Management education program at ASU. My community efforts were recognized in 2005 when the Indiana University School of Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance (one of my graduate alma maters) awarded me the Outstanding Alumni Award for Service. In 2016 I received the ASU Foundation Award for Teaching Excellence.

But, after 40 years of teaching, I was ready to move onto the next phase of life, and increasing my involvement with OLLI at ASU was such a logical next step. I LOVE the energy I feel in the classes!!! So, after retiring, I volunteered my expertise and time, and I am pleased to announce my role within OLLI at ASU as the Volunteer Manager.
