Friends of the Tempe Public Library

With the support of Friends of the Tempe Public Library, OLLI classes and special events are being held at Tempe Connections.

Friends of the Tempe Public Library has partnered with OLLI at ASU since 2006. OLLI classes meet in Tempe Connections Program Room, conveniently located adjacent to Connections Café, offering visitors refreshments and a cozy spot to socialize. A huge selection of used books of every genre are available at bargain prices at the Friends Bookstore located on the library main floor. Thanks to the efforts of over 60 volunteers, the Friends support literacy, lifelong learning and fund high-quality programming for patrons of all ages. The Tempe Public Library is a prized community institution and the Friends connect OLLI at ASU to its educational and cultural offerings.

Each December Tempe Connection hosts the OLLI at ASU Scholars Event, where OLLI students give scholarly presentations on their favorite topics. Please see the flyers from 2016 and 2017 for more information.
